How deeply do we examine ourselves?
We search the inner man,
in hopes of destroying the world within us.
We live in this temple which God provided,
doing our part in our salvation;
as we prepare for heaven.
Are our spirits like the physical babes at human birth?
Did God equip all humans with sleeping spirits,
which awaken at the rebirth of Salvation,or
only those who are predestined to be His?
Deep questions, few answers?
While we pass through this world
we are flawed vessels,sinners all.
Conditioned by a world we are a part of,but;
in which we do not belong.
Why?
So short is this journey,(a lifetime) of learning,
it is foolish to think this is all there is .
Gods word tells us our bodies are
to be temples dedicated to Him.
To become spiritually well within us,
is a valid and important pursuit.
For the physical follows after the spiritual,
in these limited minds and bodies.
While we live in them,I have no doubts
that God has taken into account, how valuable
self-actualization,introspection,and self-awarness is.
For it seems He strives for us to find
this aspect of ourselves.
All the ingredients are within the scope of His
teachings and processes,
to attain this within us.
Within the processes of Salvation,
you find the need to change.
Faith grows only with change.
Walking with your God you find
the elimination of selfishness, healing,Gods love,
faith,obedience and more.
How important it is to ” know ” oneself,
in our need for Gods love.
The anticipatuon of eternal life with Him
is unbearable at times.
To be loved for who we really are,
is something we search for all our lives.
This is our greatest need which only
He can fulfill. In secular college,it was
necessary for me to select a therapist, for the
theory they professed.
My favorite was Abraham Mazlow, whom I suspected
was a Christian, and his theory of a Heirarchy of
Needs; not unlike Gods Ways of loving His creation.
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith;
prove your own selves.Know ye not your own selves,
how that Jesus Christ is in you, except
ye be reprobates?”
2Corinthians 13:5
“And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient
for thee:for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my
infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me”.
2Corinthians 12:9
