“A Renewed Mind”!

As our God commands,the walking
in Christ is brought about by being
led of the Spirit of God.
In this manner, do each of us work
our faith,and grace in love.

Each of us have been given a measure
of that faith,grace and love at salvation.
“Choice”, to grow spiritually will create
that hunger for our personal God,within
our spiritual walk with Him.

It is Gods desire that we perfect ourselves
for the ministry,and the edifying of the body.
Whom God calls,He equips.
All who are truly saved,are the called.
Not all believe this in the beginning of
our salvation,this is the difference between
the lambs and the sheep.

Through you allowing Jesus to change  you,
does He bring this about:
in your inner man.
This too is another “choice.”
attitudes and thoughts of the old world
you came out of, are of the old sin nature.
From selfishness to selflessness.

This change which Christ in us perfects
is the renewing of the spirit of our mind.
That measure of faith given by God is the
vehicle by which this is done,
with the Holy spirits help.

Through faith,and love always seeking
the truth of our God , righteousness & Holiness
has its way in and through us.

Your God has given you all that you will
need to complete His work in you.
You know “change ” is not easy,but doable
Your mind is flesh,and will battle you for the
feeding and growth of your spirit.

The flesh hates all things spiritual, and
the human mind will deny Gods truth
strongly.Listen with the help of The
Spirit of Truth,you will overcome through
Gods promises,and His love.

Knowing that: ” all things work together
for good,to them that love God,to them who
are the called according to His purpose”.
Romans 8:28

“Finally,brethren,whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,whatsoever
things are just,whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,whatsoever
thing are of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise,think on these things.”

Phillipians4:8

“and be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after
God is created in righteousness
and true holiness.”

“Watch and pray,that ye enter not into

“Holy Spirit Healer”!

Once you claim Him,He seals you with a new name by which you will
be known in heaven.Of the Godhead, the Father,Jesus,and the Holy Spirit;
none is more revered than Gods Holy Spirit.Many a time we find our
frustrations overwhelming us, and we punish our God for His uncaring
demeanor towards us .That we even think He can or has failed us in our
mutual love relationship is a perfect example of our immaturity between us!
All of us at one time or another have cursed our God ,for what we believe He
has done in our lives.Mwah? ,yes you have , for so have I!

We are human creatures and well know the changing attitudes of our
anger within us at times,for even God. Yet! the Father, and His Son Jesus;
tolerate our outbursts of selfishness within us being expressed without question.
Forgiveness seems to be well-known by them both? But; I perceive in my spirit that
they both grieve deeply for any form of chastisement of their Holy Spirit.

For I believe the Holy Spirit never encourages any criticisms whatsoever , I
cannot think of any way to provoke Gods wrath more quickly than this attitude,
from a child of God. The essence of the Spirit of God is “Love”,
knowing this I understand that He will at all times never offend another child of God.
This nature is unbecoming Him and I believe impossible for Him to do. Perhaps this is why of
all three of these personages ,there is only one sin of unforgivness
noted among the trinity for believers.

The Holy Spirit has many names within the scope of Divinity,I will leave
them up to you to seek out in your spiritual walk of your own? I am concerned
with only one at this time, that of Healer. Working with Him in concert
to bring healing to a child of God is humbling to say the least,
and quick understanding that He is providing the healing of the wounds
from the hearts of Gods children.

One aspect of healing , Gods children must become aware of.
God heals, the manner in which He heals is entirely up to Him;
as well as “when” He chooses to Heal anyone.
Which means , it is up to His discretion to heal in the moment, (rite now);
or Heal through another “Obedient Child of God”: in His Good timing !
Understand that God has this privilage to heal, it doesn’t necessary mean
that He must do it in your lifetime,He may choose to do so upon entrance
into walking into heaven when we get there?

Just because a person is afflicted with any malaise during this lifetime,
doesn’t mean that God won’t work and love through you towards others;
or that you haven’t been healed in your spirit; least
of all your physical body.

An aspect of Divine Healing, is that Whatever trial and tribulation we
may have to go through for our God in our Spiritual walk with Him,understand;
that all the circumstances that may confront you as you go through it ,God
planned it that way ? No matter how ugly, how hurtful,
(how not like what you think your God would allow you to have to go through.)
I see no difference between simple hard times,
to experiencing physical or sexual abuse at any age.

For I have seen Gods hand in many situations,which only could have been His;
in the onset of therapy with His children. Gods ways are not our ways,
His thoughts are not our thoughts. So if you have ever wondered “where was your God”
when you were being abused? Don’t miss a heartbeat, He was right there with you;but:
only He knew the reason why you were having to go through it at that time?

Since God knows the beginning and the end of life of all His children to be,
He also knows precisely the moment and exactly what it will take to bring about
the spiritual growth, for your becoming a Son of God ;like His Jesus.
Whatever it may take to bring that about in His manner of Love, He will do!
Much to our dismay at times ,thinking that “God wouldn’t do that”?

Few Christians know their God to any depth of understanding,
for that may well be their choice to not know Him?
I would recommend solely that should any child of God wishes to know their God Intimately,
that they build up a personal spiritual relationship with the Holy Spirit;
for He wrote the bible under Gods direction; and knows the very heart of God.

Relationship with ones God is as important as building your faith with the truth of Gods word,
which brings spiritual growth now.The subtle purpose of ones spiritual walk with their God,
is to change; from a worldly ,selfish person .
To a spiritual creature (Gods Son) changed by His love (Agape), by our faith;
(Which in heaven.) will change.
“Faith” will eventually evolve into perfect “Obedience” to God in Love:
in the spiritual realm.

“A Happening”!

Chico,California is a college town,known in times past
for its partytime attitudes.
Although tainted by its past, it has tempered its bad rep,
over the years with a general reluctance among students;and
the city fathers: whomever they may be at any given time.
Last night was a Tuesday, the start of the college week?
Understand the setting if you will, there are basically three
places of which I am familiar with; that cater to the college
students as quasi-underground in the form of free entertainment.
Two of the singers each individuals with guitar in hand, place their
hearts and voices before their audiences at various times.

Back in the sixties, we had similar happenings, on nights when we
couldn’t bring calm to our troubled souls,and wanted to find some
cheap,pleasurable music. So it began like last night, I like to go; and
listen to my kids sing,and play guitar at these times of memories we
still can make with each other. Of course, my part as an old man; is
to listen: to the music as it is played: give critiques afterward: see my
children in moments of their joy: and laughter as they do what they love
to do. Please others!
Usually several coffee shops in town cater to the students here in
Chico, providing some form of music, poetry, or whatever passes for
entertainment to their patrons with the lowest of overheads to themselves.
I don’t knock it, for it is at the least an expression of finding hidden talent,
yet undiscovered; waiting to become!
It is at best a chance to be known locally!

It is a scene out of my past,which dares to come out of the cobwebs
of my memories. Also, it is real to me and lives again through my
children as they make their memories to cherish over the years.
Moxies, Hasbeans, and Fulcrum Records are the three places who have
opened their doors to these impromptu happenings.
The show was to begin at 8PM, my son and I would arrive at 7PM ,
in order to get a seat.
It wasn’t a big space ,but it was original to lovers of music.
Some artwork on the walls, some large sound equipment at the back
of the one room which housed everything; possibly holding a tight
hundred people uncomfortably. A small couch against a counter,
at the end of which I placed one of the three chairs.
I was able to use as we waited for the show to start.

The front door remained open for about an hour and a half while
many of the students stood and talked while waiting for the show to start,
nevertheless by 8:30pm; I was frozen: with a cold blast of air
coming in the front door at times: keeping the temperature in the
building reaching an outside 40 or so degrees constant: to an old man
it was damn cold. But; I would do anything to come and hear my kids
sing and play their music.
My daughter, (aka:”boytiger”); was to sing this night;
and my son (aka:”knowvella”): and I wanted to be there for her, as is it is our one thing
we can participate in as a family these days.
The show began, but; still the cold seemed to be constant:
and the voices were a slight distraction from behind me.
Apparently, this was the unspoken signal for others that the show was
starting; and to shut up: and come in from the sidewalk outside.

Each time she sings,she moves my heart so; I chide her afterwards of not
thinking of singing my song for me:(of course parents who still love their
kids: have one favorite song) always.At her age now, I cannot pat her on
her head with a kindly fathers touch; (she’d probably deck me)?
But; as I listened to her I “felt” others coming in from out in the cold;
of the room filling: of young people wandering in and sitting on the floor.
Each time she would finish a song,the crowd would roar their delight;
applaud: and ten or more kids would join the others on the floor.
Cold was no longer a problem,with that many bodies in that small a
space; it warmed up nicely.She only sang about five or so songs she
wrote and played at that set,but; it was enough to please the audience
to no end. So subtle was all this happening,that it truly was a happening.
They could have payed ten bucks a pop,and they would have felt they got
their moneys worth.If that was the purpose,money; that is?

“Insights”!

Gods word saturates the Soul
to such a depth of a true believer,
that in normal conversation he/she
speaks scripture.
Now it may not be verbatim,
paraphrased mostly, but; the word is spoken.

There will be many gifts given to believers,
that will not accompany us into the kingdom.
They have been used only while on this earth.
The medium through which we move here on
earth,will not be the same as the kingdom.

Time, will not matter as eternity is forever.
The medium which I believe will prevail in the kingdom
is love,with thought holding a great importance also.
Spacial concepts may also be relative,and used.

One constant of the Spirit realm will be Holiness,
which many of the learned qualities of God are composed.

Faith, may well be non-existent;as we would be in Gods presence.
Important will be Obedience out of love for God.
I believe love to be the power,the essence of God
one of His many qualities which only the mind of
the Spirit will really comprehend.

We see only the limited use of this quality
here in mortal bodies.
Knowledge and knowing the things of God
will fill the spiritual mind.
There will be no limitations of that spirit mind,
all of it will be used,to its infinite limits.

Thought,may very well be a concept of communication,
as well as the method of transportation and the source of
bringing it to pass.
I believe the chosen of God will have levels of glory,
coinciding with the depth of victories and crowns
earned on earth while passing through mortal trials.
Nevertheless, the highest,that of Martyr for Christ.

I also believe that those believers who accepted Salvation,
who either chose not to grow in spiritual depth,or who did
not have the human element of time with which to learn
of spiritual qualities on earth will be required to learn those
qualities in the kingdom.
All will have Glorified bodies either at the rising of the dead in Christ,
or the meeting of the saints in the air.
All will have differing glories,some many some less, some none.

Choice, will also be a gift of God,and which will always be
inherent in a child of God even in the spirit realm.
For God himself to deny choice for any being,
would be to deny Himself freewill and sovereignty in love.
There will be (Majesties) within those levels of glories
only God knows of,He will teach those to all those ready and
capable to share in them.

Wisdom, will be a perfecting process which cements
much together which knowledge teaches.
Only God knows the limits He wishes to go to,for the perfecting
of His Spirit children of His kingdom.
For if we have striven to become Christlike on earth,
would we not also become Sons of God in His kingdom?

“Howbeit when he,the Spirit of truth,is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not
speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
that shall he speak: and (HE WILL SHEW YOU THINGS
TO COME.) (Caps Mine)

“Storms”!

The rains came down,the winds uncontrolled,
shook my truck violently.
After awhile the storm ended,
The sun began to shine, peace returned.
The break in the storm only anticipates
another surge of stormy weather.

So much like the storms of the Spirit,
the tribulations and trials buffet us fiercly.
When God thinks we’ve had enough,
The Son begins to shine in our hearts,
His peace fills us.

The break in the tempest prepares our hearts,
for yet another tempering of our spirit within.
Steels our heart with the mercy of His love,
as we prepare to be like the Firstborn of God.
We who will fill the New Jerusalem,
with our love for all eternity.
Rejoicing in His presence.

“And I John saw the holy city,new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,prepared
as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and
he will dwell with them,and they shall be his
people,and God himself shall be with them,and
be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes;and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow,nor crying,neither shall there be any more
pain:for the former things are passed away”.

“The Quiet Ones”!

His time with me, begins later after the world
shuts down.
It is usually in His timing,that
His heart speaks to mine.

My human mind tells me that,
you are in a sleepy stupor;
you are listening to nothing of value?

My renewed mind begins to reveal,
that God is speaking to me;
in the fluidness of His Spirit.

That fluidness is the anointing which
flows between spirit beings.
I experienced it for the first time this day,
and understood it!

To describe it, only the words quiet,and peace
come to my understanding?
As to what I am perceiving through it,
there is a slowness; a relaxing in-depth warmth:
of a burning within me.

It is much like those earlier times when God would wake me,
out of a sound sleep; with a one word command: “Pray”!

It took me so by surprise, I couldn’t do anything but;
“Pray”!

I remember the anointing then, as though doing;
thinking: and speaking through fluid?

So much is lost between God and us,
in the noise of this world.
It is in the quiet times, in the fluid of the anointing;
that we can know our God best: within
the medium of peace.

So few of us choose to go there,
to be with Him;
in His blessed assurance!

“For many are called, but few are chosen”

Who hath also sealed us, and given the ernest
of the Spirit in our hearts.”

“The Nudge”!

I pictured a hourglass just sitting,
the sand my lifetime running out.

I wondered if,at the falling of that last grain
my ears would hear the angels shout.

Each season of me I spend upon this earth,
seems to take a little more of me away.

I have felt His loving gratitude,
for those returned to His fold.
How He used me time and again,
to show them His love.

For them to know anothers love was enough,
to return home to Him.

God grateful to me?
Could I dare such a saying?
Why would He do such a thing?

He could have done it all, with a snap of His fingers.

Yet He chose to let me see,how it’s done
by doing it for Him.

Just to show me His gratitude,
for allowing His Son within me.

Nothing exceptional,just doing my duty in the
fulfillment for Him who is called master.

“But which of you, having a servant plowing
or feeding cattle,will say unto him by and by,
when he is come from the fields,Go and sit down to meat?
And will not rather say unto him,Make ready wherewith
I may sup,and gird thyself,and serve
me,till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward
thou shalt eat and drink?

Doth he thank that servant because he did
the things that were commanded him?I trow not.
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all
those things which are commanded you,say,We are
unprofitable servants: we have done that which
was our duty to do.”

“Your God”!

Not all christians have a relationship with “their” God.
When I refer to “your” God,I infer to the depth
of your love between Him,and you.
Each of us are capable of how much we love others,
by the quanitity and quality of those who taught us to do so.

Parents,siblings,spouses,friends,all show us their love
hopefully by example,in words,in actions?
Many who cannot show us love,may not understand that they
either never learned how,or feared to much to do so,
perhaps both.

So each of us in our walk with “our” God,is a babe
in Christ,until: we become enamored with Gods “Agape” love.
The anointing of the Holy Spirit, changes our new
Jesus filled heart,and the word renews our mind,
over time,as we destroy the sin within.
Through our faith,our human love changes,
out of necessity: within the parameters of this
personal relationship with Him.
The end result, the ability to love others as we all
want and need to be loved,for ourselves.

“This is Gods unconditional kind of love”.
There is none other.

Without conditions,freely given,simply us allowing
Jesus within to live and walk again in this world:
while we still abide here in this medium called time.
So you can see when we are called home,
what an emptiness there will be in this world
Gone will be the goodness that restrains this world.

“And, behold,I am with thee, and will
keep thee in all places whither thou goest,
and will bring thee again into this land; for I
will not leave thee, until I have done that
which I have spoken to thee of.”

Genesis 28:15

” Beloved,let us love one another: for
love is of God; and every one that loveth is

“A Spiritual Lesson #1″

          The Spirit led me to offer a spiritual lesson to three friends.

     This was to take place in sessions on the internet,

     the time element was to be for as long as it took to teach it.

     After studying the material,preparing for several weeks,

     Scheduling,including times,days,and beginning dates were made.

     For with only three participants,it would cover three continents,

     with three different time zones and two different international 

     date lines.

 

            It was interesting in that two of the initial three persons, 

     who wanted to participate in this special study;

     in the end found themselves unable to participate in it.

     I could have questioned whether the leading was from God or not,

     and indeed that thought passed through my mind a time or two.

     Yet! I still had the leading to go ahead with a friend in New Zealand,

     and enter into the teaching in obedience to the Holy Spirits wishes.

     The leading had been so strong in the beginning,and even after 

     two of the three dropping out; the leading was as strong as ever.

 

               We began the lesson.

 

         The focus and teaching was on “Walking In the Spirit”,and was 

     extrapolated from Galatians 2:20.

     I had written three posts on this one  scripture in September of 2004,

     and the Spirit spoke to me to hold tight to these three posts for

     a future teaching. This time had come ,and after the original planning 

     stages had been scheduled and everything was set,

     two participants dropped out,leaving one person. 

     She is a dear friend living in New Zealand .

     She had reached a point of a much needed vacation with her husband,

     to spend some time in the New Zealand outback; camping and relaxing.

 

 

       Not long ago, after many years of her christian walk, she was

      awakened

     in her spirit by the Holy Spirit ,and was given her healing from many 

     spiritual woundings of her past,from early childhood  through late

      teens.

     God blessed her with a spiritual awakening she had never believed 

     possible,and although a christian for many years now, she found herself

     being born-again in her spirit.

 

       Several things had happened these last few weeks preceeding our

      third lesson,and feeling that I had not covered;

      the material even basically,

      we entered into this lesson,which I had asked her to come expecting 

     the Spirit to provide a wonderful revelation in. 

     Well we both came expecting,and weren’t dissapointed.

     Over MSN IM, the Spirit had His way, and the distance between us was 

     no barrier whatsoever.

 

         For three hours He spoke through me,to her in New Zealand.

     The typing began,He taught, we both learned a most wonderful lesson.

     When we were  through at the end of that time, He had not only 

     taught us what He wanted ,but; He also infilled us both in the process.

     The completeness of what we had received together continents apart,

      yet so near to our God ,was an infilling of  the Holy Spirit. 

     He knew we both needed this at that time.

     She left on her vacation with her husband feeling elated in the 

     love of her God, filled with the Spirit;having much to comtemplate: 

     both in her spiritual life,and her renewed marital 

     relationship with her husband.

 

       He knew I needed so much new strength for an old weary  

     body,and something we both had needed which was a fringe benefit; 

     we both received a healing touch in our physical bodies.

     I have no doubts that our loving heavenly Father brought

     that much needed anointing upon us both,and the Joy of the Lord

     would last several weeks from now.

 

             “But this thing commanded I them,saying,

              Obey my voice, and I will be your God,

              and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all

              the ways that I have commanded you, that it

              may be well unto you.”

 

                                                         Jeremiah7:23

 

             “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art

              my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the 

              land of uprightness.”

                                               Psalm 143:10

 

 

             “Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;

              and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the 

              clouds.”

                                               Psalm36:5

            written about with Gods Spirit.
